I know I said a spotlight every week and it has only been a few days since the last one, but this is important. This is Steven. Steven has been a good friend of mine for quite some time. We went to high school together and was also part of the Blockbuster era. He attended Piedmont Tech in Greenwood for about two years and graduated from there and decided he want to go to North Greenville college. That didn't work out to well due to finances, so he ended up going to Lander University.
He is loving it at Lander and he has a history of having seizures, but has not had one in two years. If you do not know much about epilepsy, flashing lights, noises, and lack of sleep can cause a seizure and he experienced all three last night and this morning he had three horrible seizures. He is now at the hospital and will be released soon. He was not on medicine, but he will be from now on.
