I'm Back (Pic)

Hello there! I hope you had a good week, because I sure did!

We left on Saturday night at 1am for Florida to get around tracffic, and literally spent the next day looking for hotels close to where the ship leaves-Port Canavral.

We arrived in Florida at 8:30 that morning and didn't get a hotel room until 5 that afternoon. Needless to say, we were extremely tired and slept from 6pm until 9am on Monday. I think that is the longest I've ever slept in my life.

Monday was the day the ship was suppose to leave. At 2, we could start to enter the boat, but we got word that we could do it earlier, so we went ahead and went to the terminals to get our luggage out the car and then on to the huge cruise ship we went. Our other party left Sunday night so they made it late and slept for a little bit, and we saw them on the ship also.

This was my first time traveling on Royal Caribbean, so it was a little different. I've always traveled on The Carnival. It was a smaller ship so better service. Everyone pampered you; gave me whatever I wanted, when I wanted. Royal Caribbean own their own island, so that was nice to go there for a day. We were suppose to go to the private island on the first day, but there was bad weather, so we went ahead to Nassau, then on our way back, we went to the private island. It worked out a lot better this way.

Anyway, I had a great time and I would say that although I had a good time on this ship, I would still reccommend cruising with The Carnival. It was a great 4 day, 3 night cruise. We got back Friday, and then we made the drive home and got back to SC at 7:30pm. We made great time because we left at 11:30pm.
