Back to School

It's that time again. Books, paper, pensils, bags, Sharpies, etc. Children have already started back in the upstate. Some schools have started back early to squeeze in at least 180 days of school. Most schools should then start going in September, but you know what that means-Get out later. Kids are happy about it, and some are not. Parents are absolutely happy with it. One mother told me
"I get to go on vacation!"

College is starting soon also. I know a few colleges start the week after next on a Thursday.
"A Thursday? Whats the point in that?"
I would have to agree. I don't see the point in starting school near the end of the week, but officials have their reasons.

Be sure to make a last minute run on all your school supplies soon. Tax free weekend is a great thing!
