Phone Pranks Take a Step Further

The day has come that people do not have to do much themselves. You have to admit, we are all getting lazy these days. A small percentage of people go by the old ways of doing things, which is a good thing sometimes.

Robots that cut grass, machines that build cars, computers that pay your bills, etc. So many automations in this world today.
To keep up with the days times, prank calling takes it a step further. There are times when a person wants to make a prank call to a friend on his/her birthday. A little laugh to brighten up their day. Or maybe randomly for fun:
“Dude! Let’s call that girl in our history class. We’ll just look her up on Facebook or Myspace for her number or try the student directory. This will be awesome!”

Trust me, examples like these do happen. Sometimes a person makes a random call in the phonebook, student directory, or if you just have your number posted somewhere. I am a victim of many a prank calls.
Mad at your girlfriend or boyfriend and you don’t want to talk to them? This happens mostly in high school or middle school where the boyfriend breaks up with the girl or vice versa, then they are not on speaking terms and their best friends are the messengers.
“Karin, can you tell Chris I don’t ever want to talk to him again!”
And Karin runs to tell Chris. Kids…

There are many more examples, and I’m sure some of you can dazzle me with some examples. There is a revolutionary way to make prank calls now. No longer do you have to call your boss pretending you are Dr. Slaticburg from Greenville Memorial Hospital informing him that you can’t come in for the next two weeks, so you can make it to your friend’s lake house party. No longer do you have to call Susan (your high school crush) and tell her you are in love with her.

How about going to a website, typing in the phone number, time to call that number, and the caller ID that will pop up to the phone when the number is called? You can also type the message you want delivered and pick a voice based on age and sex that will call the other person. Then, you can just set the time and walk away. Pretty cool? Try it, it’s addictive!
