Join Rose Hill Plantation in welcoming scholars of Southern plantation slavery, as they discuss their recent research and findings on this interesting and complex subject. Rose Hill will welcome esteemed author, John Michael Vlach, author of "Back of the Big House: The Architecture of Plantation Slavery", along with other state and local historians for a day long workshop. Participants will have the opportunity to learn more about antebellum slavery, listen to lectures by professional historians, discuss their findings, and examine the history of Rose Hill Plantation.
