I don't play Halo, but I know a plethora of people do. There was an announcement that the final version of Halo 3 isn’t slated for release until late 2007, but this latest revelation means you’ll be able to play it in its multi player glory somewhat earlier than that; During the beta phase, which will open up in Spring.
As if all that wasn’t enough to get you excited, there is also plans to release some new multi player map packs for Halo 2 in the spring as well, just to keep the Halo fans going until the official Halo 3 release. Finally, a one-minute commercial trailer for Halo 3 is set to appear on US television screens in December. It is believed this will then also appear as a download via Xbox Live. This is all great news for Halo fans, but you have a while to wait... Maybe...
