Trillian Astra

Trillian has always been a favorite chat program of mine. I switch back from AIM and Trillian every so often. The new AIM Triton is wonderful to me. I like it a lot, but what I am really waiting for is Astra.

Astra is the next Trillian chat program, now in private beta. Interoperability is important these days, and that is exactly what Astra offers. Have a yahoo account? AIM? MSN? ICQ? All? Trillian is able to add all of them for you if you wish, so you can chat simultaneously with everyone! That is nothing new though, but a nice feature.

I am not going to bore you with the long list of cool feature Astra will have. You'll have to check out the interactive tour located on their new and improved site. There is not a set date on the release, but you better believe I'll be one of the first to have it!
