Japanese Robot Saves The Day

Why pull a burned person off the streets when you don't have to? What looks to be a wood chipper is actually a robot. The Japanese Fire Department in Tokyo has a robot (above) that can be used as a rescue robot for people who are unconscious from a fire or to pick up casualties. This massive machine can be controlled via remote and has a camera right above the lights, so it, or the person operating it, can see.

The Japanese are known for their mind-blowing technology and I look forward to their next technological advancement.
