It is finally here. I knew one day we would see the day when iTunes started unlocking their music, but for a cost. After an iTunes software update, you will be amazed to see a new section in the iTunes store called iTunes Plus Store where there is nothing but DRM-free music.
There are plenty of other DRM-free online stores out there, and iTunes has finally joined in. Unfortunately there are also other DRM-free stores that are much cheaper. iTunes will offer the music downloads at $1.29 per song. They also offer a $.30 upgrade to all the music that you have already purchased. Not too bad.
