What do you think. MicroHoo, YahSoft, Microsft-Ya, YaMic....I could go on. Those are just a few names I could think of if this popular deal between Microsoft and Yahoo goes down. What deal, do you ask? If you hadn't heard, Microsoft offered an astonishing 44 billon bucks (not Deer) to acquire Yahoo. But will Yahoo take the deal? We'll see.

Last Friday, Microsoft made public their bid to acquire Yahoo for $44 billion and in response Yahoo said "that's crazy and unsolicited," but did not refuse the offer. I don't blame them, but what will that mean for the two companies. I was a little frightened, but the more I think about it, the more it isn't so bad. They are just doing what any company has or will do. Make more money! This may not have much significance with us users as far as what they both have to offer. At the least (or most, however you look at it) they will offer better and more features.

{UPDATE} The final answer is "NO!" Probably an insult to Microsoft. How dare one not take a $44 billion dollar offer! I think Yahoo made a smart move though. Now Microsoft will have to do something else with their money. I can think of a few things...
