Microsoft has been rather coy about Windows 7, but yesterday, they released what Ballmer (Bill Gates right hand man) calls "the smallest snippet" of Windows 7.
The big reveal was multi-touch support, which utilizes technology developed by the Surface team. The taskbar seems to have been reworked a bit, and the demo was running live on a Dell Latitude XT tablet.
Take a look at the video below. This is some cool technology. Apple created the technology first, however, as Gates and Ballmer clearly point out, it is Microsoft that sells 240 million PCs opposed to Apple's 10 million computers sold annually. 'They are a great company does quite well."
Regardless, the technology is amazing and you should probably look forward to it to be integrated into every device near you in the near future.
