EMI will soon be offering the its music catalog free of DRM restrictions. Steve Jobs was on hand at the press conference to endorse the idea. Today, I noticed the news and to my pleasant surprise, EMI announced that in conjunction with Apple, it would make its entire digital catalogue available on iTunes completely DRM-free. The wonderful moment I've been waiting for-and many others.
