I didn't think the mouse took much energy, but apparently Dutch researchers thought otherwise. Dubbed the "Sole Mio," the mouse is designed to be placed next to a sunlit area when not being used. The researchers hope that this habit will provide a battery life for the mouse that will last all days without any interruptions.
I am just a little perplexed as to why they felt the need to create a solar powered mouse. They seem to be pretty sure that they will have much success in this product. Maybe it will be. It amazes me how the strangest ideas, become the best. There isn't a release date now, but be on the lookout in the near future.
