The world's tallest Ferris wheel has begun in China. If you thinking, "Oh its not going to be as tall as any other Ferris Wheel," then you are wrong; very wrong. Construction began on the Great Wheel of China, a $99 million Ferris wheel that will tower over Beijing at a stupendous 680 feet when construction is complete in 2009. This is not just any Ferris wheel, though.
Each one of its 48 cars is air-conditioned and holds 40 passengers, for a total of 1920 Ferris wheel lovers tightly packed together while this giant turns. I am thinking this giant ride will take a while load 40 people per car. What do you think?
