AT&T's New Plan - Unlimited

I have been with AT&T for quite some time now and I must say, I have been quite impressed. Aside from owning my favorite phone offered through AT&T, I have not had any problems reguarding my service like I have had with the others I have tried. When I was with SunCom for a day or two, I knew they offered unlimited anytime minutes. That is what drew me in, however, I could not use any minutes due to lack of service.

AT&T has announced a plan to follow the recent trend of going unlimited. For only $99.99, you can chat all you want. While I find this to be quite convenient, I think this is just a bit too expensive for my use. I don't use anything but a cell phone. I do not have a landline and I've noticed that not many use landline these days, so AT&T made a smart move.

AT&T's plan will be available February 22nd with no roaming charge or long distance charge. If you own an iPhone, the plan will work for the iPhone, however, you will still have to pay the $20.00 data charge. Sprint has a similar plan, but includes data, text, and voice. It is only available in certain areas however. Now when AT&T rolls around a plan that is unlimited everything for $100 per month, I will be a happy camper. Until then, I am satified with my current plan.

Do you currently have an unlimited plan? Do you ever see yourself swtching in the future. Let me know. I am curious.

I can see how someone would want to change plans. Especially if you talk a lot. I however, will not be changing my plan to the unlimited one. It sounds nice and all, but the price is a little too steep for me at this stage in my financial life.
