Up and Running

I'm back! It has been quite a hectic week. Between working, moving, and very little access to internet, I was not able to post as often as I would have liked in a week. Of course there are a million webpages that do what I do, so I am sure you didn't miss much. However, you can now visit the million plus one (What's newS) because I am pretty sure I won't be moving again anytime soon, or having very little access to internet, which I thought was impossible these days. Not so much...

So, in personal news, I am about to embark on an adventure with a company called SpiderOak which offer backup services for not only PC, but MAC and Linux as well. Not too long ago I did a review of the site, and it was a treat to review. Within the coming months, we hope to achieve some goals and make users of SpiderOak as happy as we are. Stay tuned for more updates as the approach on this topic.

In other news, one of my favorite satellite radio companies has been officially approved to merge with Sirius Radio. So XM and Sirius have been approved to merge. This is pretty big, and I was not so sure they were going to approve that because that would then make a monopoly. Either way, the services of both combined will be nothing short of excellent to say the least. At least, that is what I expect. This deal will create a combined user base of about 18 million users. However, don't get to discouraged about the merge because the deal isn't without catches with the Commission stating that the companies must cap prices for three years following the merger, allow subscriber choice on content, and lower fees for channel packages.

How do you feel about the merge? Excited or disappointed? Personally, I am excited, although some user I have spoken with are not so much.
