Change is on The Way for Facebook

Every-so-often, Mark takes a look at Facebook and says, "I need to make some changes." Shortly afterwards, he implements his work to the thousands of user who are registered and most people don't like it. Agitated by the change, they start groups, threaten to deactivate their accounts, and send Mark over 2 thousand messages a day, displaying their hate. After a while, the whines die down and the users that complained get use to it. Those groups loose all activity, and everyone is happy...That is until the next change occurs.

I am here to let you know. Change is on the way. If you are one that does not like change, then I suggest you deactivate your account for good. Changes are imminent. If you are on top of Facebook news, then you might know that Mark announced his visions last year, and now he has previews and plans to make the changes throughout profiles within the next few weeks. What are the changes?

With the new updates, you won't be able to see a member's entire profile on one screen. Personal information about someone will be included on one "tab" of a profile, whereas the "wall"--public messages, developer-created applications, News Feed updates, and other activity-related information--will be on a separate tab. A third tab will link to the photos that the member has uploaded.

As you know, Facebook has thousands of applications. Some of you feel that those thousands of applications need to be on your profile (like some of my friends), making it very difficult to navigate. If I simply want to write on someones wall, I don't want to have to scroll through other applications for five minutes looking for it. These updates are being put in place to help with that and make things a little more organized.

Not a bad idea. Look forward to the changes in the next few weeks.
