Lenovo Puts Out First Desktop Computer

You are probably thinking, "wait a minute. Isn't Lenovo IBM. IBM has come out with lots of desktops." IBM has engaged in an historic alliance with Lenovo but they were once separate companies but now that they are together, great mind think alike, and two heads are better than one. Today marks a new day for Lenovo with the announcement of its first desktop, the IdeaCentre K210.

If you are familiar with either of the companies, you know they push out a plethora business-like laptops that are -- in my opinion -- not the best looking, but from what I hear, one of the best machines to use. I've never had a ThinkPad or even thought about getting one, but one of my first computers was an IBM desktop. It was awesome!

Anyway, the IdeaCentre K210 is just a desktop but it pulls a couple things from the laptop line that are unique and cool. Veriface facial recognition technology is one feature that sounds pretty neat. It also includes an anti-microbial keyboard and “Bright Vision”, which detects how far you are from the monitor and adjusts screen brightness. Not bad, but can it walk the walk?

Let me know. Sounds pretty nice though, and if you take a look here, the rest of the specs aren't bad either. How much is it? You are looking at $300-$800 so not too bad at all.
